Maths Deadlys 2018 success at Cranebrook High School!
Yesterday, over 100 primary school students, teachers and staff from local primary schools and Cranebrook High School, plenty of community volunteers, Rotary members and great support from the Schools Industry Partnership, not to mention many wonderful students and student leaders from Cranebrook High School, all worked together to achieve something great.
Aimed at making maths fun, the Maths Deadlys help Aboriginal students learn by teaching them in different ways, rather than just out of a textbook. The teams work hard to complete each challenge, including problem-solving, navigation, fast money and Jeopardy and Times Tables Challenge earning points along the way.
Thank you to all involved, it was a marvellous day!
