Cranebrook learning community band

Established in 2008, the Cranebrook learning community band is a music program run weekly at Cranebrook High School. It provides music education to students, starting as early as Year 4, from schools in the Cranebrook Learning Community, Braddock Public School, Cambridge Gardens Public School, Henry Fulton Public School, Kingswood Park Public School, Llandilo Public School, Samuel Terry Public School, and Cranebrook High School.
The band has undergone many changes over the last 8 years. It started out as a brass and woodwind ensemble, focusing on instruments such as the trumpet and clarinet. In 2015 the band undertook a new direction and is strumming away to the beat of the ukulele and vocals.
The program is led by Cranebrook High School music teacher, Miss Ford and provides tuition to students on the ukulele as part of the ensemble.
Please contact Miss Ford for further information on the Cranebrook learning community band and ask how your child can become involved.
