Minimal disruption to school bus services predicted.

On Wednesday, September 26 some Busways drivers who are members of the Transport Workers Union (TWU) are taking protected action over ongoing negotiations for a new enterprise agreement.

Some drivers may stop work between 6am and 9am and between 3pm and 6pm on Wednesday.   

All school bus services in Western Sydney will operate.

It is difficult to predict what impact the action will have on Wednesday’s services however, based on previous participation in stop work actions on September 7 and September 11, we anticipate it to be minimal.

We would like to assure the school community that Busways will make every effort to ensure services run on time and that students arrive safely to school.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding while these negotiations are ongoing.
